DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Free Basic Computer
Course
It is a computer course duly approved
by TESDA and is designed to introduce computer knowledge and develop
computer skills in Windows XP, MS Office XP, and Internet Essentials. Each
graduate will earn nine (9) academic units and additional time usage of
computer units outside their classes for FREE.
Barangay Computer
Literacy Program
This program will be
undertaken for free in order to educate and expose the barangay officials
and their employees to the computer technology and its uses in rendering
public service the most efficient way. They will be taught thru the Free
Basic Computer Course (BCC) covering the MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
and Internet Essentials. A certificate of completion will be given to
those who will graduate.
Public Elementary School Pupils and High School Students Computer Crash
Course
This course free and was designed to educate, enhance the knowledge and
skills as well as expose the public school pupils/students to computer
technology particularly those who will graduate with honors and awards
from their respective schools.
This will give them the privilege and opportunity to get exposed to
computer software applications that they could apply during their higher
pursuit of learning or even for part-time work engagements to earn extra
income for their studies.
For public elementary school pupils, they will receive a certificate of
participation on the program while public high school students will
receive an equivalent of nine (9) units for their academic requirements in
college and a certificate of completion.
Basic Computer Crash Course for Out-of-School-Youth
This crash course is free and was designed for all out-of-school youth
particularly those who remained unemployed at their barangays. This will
give them the opportunity to acquire computer knowledge and skills or even
enhance their already acquired knowledge and skills that they could use
for employment opportunities in the different workplaces that requires
computer applications.
Public School Teachers Computer Literacy Program
This is a simplified computer literacy program intended for public school
teachers who are with or without previous knowledge and skills in computer
technology. This will give them the opportunity to learn basic computer
concepts and principles as well as practice computer software applications
that they could teach in their respective classrooms. The methodology to
be employed will be like a workshop-seminar. Introductory lessons on
hardware applications will also form part of their experience.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What are
the basic requirements to be submitted in order to qualify for the FREE
Basic Computer Course?
• Practically no basic requirements are needed except your Registration
Form and you have basic typing skills.
2. When I have already finished the course, is there a certificate of
completion?
• Yes. A certificate of completion will be your proof that you have
undergone the training program and duly complied with all the requirements
as set forth by TESDA.
3. Is there equivalent units for its subject?
• Yes. You will earn a total of nine (9) academic units.
4. After this Basic Computer Course, do you offer advanced computer course
for free?
• Yes. After you have completed the training program, the Foundation will
send you an invitation to enroll again in our Advanced Computer Courses
and any other advanced technology courses duly approved by TESDA.
Remember, you could not take an advanced course when you have not finished
the basic computer course.
5. How does your Basic Computer Course different from other courses
offered by other computer schools?
• The course is totally FREE. One computer for one student. It is
practically a computer skill acquisition and enhancement course.
7. What if I would like to upgrade my personal computer unit by asking
technical help from the Foundation, is it possible?
• Yes, it is possible but we could not do beyond the requirements of your
computer unit.
